gamescom 2025 – bigger and more diverse than ever before. It achieved new records for exhibitors, internationality and exhibition space. 357,000 visitors from 128 countries came together at the world’s biggest gaming festival to celebrate their love of gaming. Featuring the relocated event arena, an additional hall for the entertainment area, a larger indie area and expanded outdoor spaces, gamescom 2025 delivered a unique and even better visitor experience.

International participation at all-time high

A total of 1,568 exhibitors from 72 countries participated in gamescom 2025, with a foreign share of 70 percent. There were also 40 country pavilions representing 35 countries, including for the first time the pavilion of official partner country Thailand, along with Dubai and Kyrgyzstan. The number of trade visitors rose to over 34,000, with the strongest growth coming from the US, China, Canada and Japan.

Digital reach hits record level

Digital reach for gamescom 2025 reached new heights – as of Saturday evening alone, over 630 million viewers worldwide had tuned in to gamescom content – an increase of 105 percent compared to the previous year. Of these, 72 million were for gamescom Opening Night Live (+80 percent). The community adventure gamescom epix logged 5.7 million page views, also representing a significant increase.

Attendance at the devcom developer conference (to be renamed gamescom dev) increased by 6 percent to 5,400, and the gamescom congress grew by 10 percent, exceeding 1,000 attendees for the first time.

Around 80,000 people flocked to the gamescom city festival in downtown Cologne on Saturday and Sunday.
