2021, our opening show gamescom: Opening Night Live was packed to the brim with news on over 30 hotly anticipated games! Including: Saints Row, Marvel's Midnight Suns, DokeV, Call of Duty: Vanguard and many more. Missed the show? This way!

In cooperation with IGN, we presented the latest & most exciting reveals, fresh gameplays, interviews, walkthroughs, Q&A and much more in the english language gamescom studio 2021! The gamescom studio in German language was produced by Webedia and was equally packed with all the gaming content you could wish for!

In the second edition of gamescom: Awesome Indies, we have not only gathered more brilliant titles from independent developers. We've also combined the trailers and game showcases with comedic interludes from host Michael Swaim and the iconic backdrop of Venice Beach.

What an Indie Festival! This year, over 255 Indies gathered in the "Summercamp of Doom" of the Indie Arena Booth Online in a lovingly designed multiplayer world and presented their exciting games. A total of over 15,000 of you played along, 500 even reached the maximum level of 50!

On 27.08.2021, it was finally that time again: Our expert jury discussed the most amazing costumes and chose the winners of this year's cosplay contest in the stream.

Popular classics from the past, new games for your retro console, interviews, live music, technology and much more - this year's retro area was full of highlights!

As Europe's leading conference on the potential of computer games in a digitalised world, the gamescom congress once again took place in a purely digital format. Across 35 programme points, numerous experts discussed how games can set new impulses in school lessons, in industry, in health care and in social interaction. Once again, the gamescom award honored the top class of the international gaming scene. At gamescom 2021, the jury selected the best games of 2021 in various genre and platform categories. Big winner of this year's awards: Elden Ring with a whopping 5 awards!

Our community activity gamescom EPIX celebrated its premiere at gamescom 2021. Together, you helped EPI fight FEATURE and its army of bugs. In total, you showed your gamescom passion in 30 quests and unlocked epic prizes from our partners.
