The event

"Spürst Du den Boden beben…" - 15 YEARS OF HEGENBERG!

Jan Hegenberg is one of the most exceptional influencers in the gaming segment. Committed fans, including prominent YouTubers like LeFloid, PietSmiet and Unge.

"Jan Hegenberg is probably the most successful artist of the free music scene." – RTL2 News The Berliner Zeitung described him as "probably more well-known than Britney Spears in the scene", while PC Action compared him with "Robbie Williams", credited Jan with "style" and authenticity, and the GameStar described the songs as having "cult status". Music critic Henrik Dürer even made comparisons with the band "Die Ärzte" in the Kieler Nachrichten. At Spotify, Hegenberg songs, with several million streamings, play in a league with well-known bands like "In Extremo" and "Subway to Sally".

One thing is clear: Hegenberg is rocking the scene – with his own concerts and appearances as headliner at major events like RPC Germany and gamescom. This is because many of his songs have developed into scene anthems over the years: the most successful of the around 65,000 YouTube fan videos for his "World of Warcraft" hit "Die Horde rennt" ("Spürst Du den Boden beben, siehst Du den Rauch am Horizont...") alone has been played around 10 million times in the meantime. "Sony" knocked on the door most recently, but Jan has always declined a recording contract. Hegenberg quote: "It also works this way!"

Correct! The positive balance to date: nine albums, one of them for the magazine "PC Action", another one exclusively on behalf of Media Markt, as well as regularly sold out concerts, several million song downloads, sponsors like Atari, guest appearances on discussion panels and in the successful PC game "Drakensang", his own TV column with the ARD broadcaster EinsPlus and much more.

The renowned daily newspaper "Die Rheinpfalz" summarises his success as follows: "Hegenberg, with his gamer music, has created his own genre, in which he is very successful and absolutely unrivalled". The success story continues: with the album "15 Jahre Hegenberg" and a tour of the same name.
