gamescom: Opening Night Live

What a start to gamescom 2021! Once again, Geoff Keighley put on a unique show for new announcements and world premieres - over 30 games from across the industry were showcased, the community could enjoy new game announcements as well as updates on the most anticipated games and other surprises with guests on stage and more - all livestreamed for fans around the world.

The gamescom: Opening Night Live kicked off at 7:30 p.m. (CEST) on Aug. 25 with a half-hour pre-show. The main show then ran from 20:00 to 22:00 (CEST). For the first time, a co-host from Germany, Natascha Becker from GameStar, supported Geoff Keighley. The gamescom: Opening Night Live was broadcast on the gamescom channels as well as on various other channels on Twitch and YouTube. Numerous Creators also co-streamed and commented on the program in various languages.
