gamescom award 2019: here are the nominees

The nominees of the gamescom award 2019 have been determined: the jury, consisting of German and international games journalists, well-known YouTubers and others, has made a selection from more than 160 submissions. Winning titles will be distinguished this year in a total of 28 categories . Exhibitors and fans of gamescom (20 to 24 August 2019) can look forward to finding out who will take one of the coveted trophies home with them from the gamescom: Opening Night Live.

From the start of the trade fair until Friday, 23 August at 2:00 p.m., fans of gamescom can vote for their favourites in the fan categories of Best Booth, Best eSports Experience and Best Streamer/Let's Player. They can chat with the gamesbot through WhatsApp to submit their vote. To do so, they only need to save the number +49 1579 24 700 97 to get started in WhatsApp. The fans will also award the gamescom "Most Wanted" consumer award, which is selected by the fans from all nominated games. These and other winning titles in the jury categories of Best Games Company, Best of CAMPUS and the gamescom Indie Award, as well as the newly created HEART OF GAMING AWARD will be announced in the IGN@gamescom now studio on gamescom Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the livestream.
