Being early pays off: From 25 to 29 August 2020, the entire gaming industry and hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the world will gather together at gamescom. Companies interested in participating have been able to book their trade fair presence since 25 November 2019 - and at the best conditions. The early bird offer ends on 13 February 2020. Full house: With 1,153 exhibitors (+10 percent), nearly all of the 218,000 square metres (+8 percent) was occupied at gamescom 2019. Due to this success, a high demand for exhibition opportunities is also expected for the coming year. Early registration is therefore encouraged for a number of reasons. By registering early, there is a greater likelihood that individual stand location selection can be taken into consideration within the overall trade fair context. In 2019, gamescom reached more people than ever before. A total of 373,000 visitors from over 100 countries, including 31,300 trade visitors, attended the event. In addition, millions of gamers followed the news online worldwide. 1,153 companies (+10 percent) ensured unprecedented gaming diversity in an expanded area of 218,000 square metres (+8 percent). The share of foreign exhibitors was around 70 percent.
gamescom will be take place in Cologne from 25 to 29 August 2020.
gamescom is the world’s largest event for computer and video games and Europe’s largest business platform for the games industry. Hundreds of thousands of visitors from more than a hundred countries celebrate the latest games live at the event in Cologne each year. They are joined by millions of fans across the globe on digital channels. With the business area, the entertainment area, the developer conference devcom, the gamescom congress and the gamescom city festival, gamescom covers games culture in all its diversity. In 2020, gamescom opens its doors to trade visitors on Tuesday, 25 August, and to private visitors on Wednesday, 26 August. gamescom is jointly organised by Koelnmesse and game – the German Games Industry Association.
