The HABA Digitalwerkstatt is a creative education and experience space. Here, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can discover the digital world playfully and develop important skills in the field of new technology.

In our courses and workshops, children learned programming, build robots, experiment with 3D printing, create Animated Movies and much more!

We also offer workshops for parents, teachers, and everyone interested in education. Our program includes school courses that focus on the conception and realisation of digital projects, which are integrated into the daily curriculum. These take place at the Digitalwerkstatt in the mornings.

At gamescom there were exciting workshops for school classes and open workshops for children.

The four stations depicted different phases in the production process of a computer game in a child-friendly and creative way. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 could play through them individually or in groups, and in addition to many exciting challenges, they also offered fun and games!

HEADIS, the fun sport where table tennis is played with the head, was also represented in the family & friends area. And if that is not enough: the inventors of HEADIS brought a new trend sport with them this year: hesherball. The aim was to keep the two hesherballs in motion on a table and shoot them into one of the corners when possible.
