This was the gamescom 2019

gamescom reached more people than ever before in 2019: a total of 373,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, 31,300 of them trade visitors. These are joined by the millions of gamers worldwide who followed the innovations online: more than 500,000 spectators alone simultaneously watched the new, international 'gamescom: Opening Night Live' show with producer and moderator Geoff Keighley in the live stream.

The guiding theme of 'Diversity wins' characterised gamescom in its tenth year. Around 370,000 visitors from 114 countries (106) celebrated "The Heart of Gaming" in the Cologne exhibition halls this year, including 31,200 trade visitors. Under the title of 'LIGHT IT UP!', the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the City of Cologne congratulated gamescom with the spectacular illumination of the Cologne bank of the Rhine for the 10th anniversary. 1,037 exhibitors (2017: 919) from 56 (54) countries made this year's motto experienceable.

This was the gamescom 2017

gamescom 2017 ended on 26 August with a new visitor record. A total of more than 350,000 visitors from 106 countries came, including estimates of the last day of the trade fair, to the world's largest event for computer and video games. This means that gamescom 2017 for the first time also beat the "100 country mark" for visitors and impressively underlined its international importance.
